Mortenveld Productions offers project based opportunities for students and emerging creatives who want
hands on experience in film and video production.
Typical roles
Production assistant
Support on set operations, logistics, and general production tasks while learning how a working set functions.
Camera & lighting support
Assist with camera, lenses, lighting setups, and basic grip work under the guidance of experienced crew.
Sound & field recording
Help with microphones, boom operations, and capturing clean production audio on location.
Post production & editing
Support media organization, basic edits, and preparation of content for delivery and social platforms.
Social media & outreach
Assist with behind the scenes content, promotional posts, and communication with collaborators and audiences.
What participants gain
Most roles are volunteer based and focused on education, experience, and portfolio building.
In some cases, stipends or school credit may be available if arranged through a college or university.
